- What is CBD?
CBD (Cannabidiol) is one of more than 113 components of Cannabinoids found in cannabis and hemp.
CBD started drawing attention around 2012. Even more than 10 years ago there was high expectation for CBD's potential.
THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol), which is banned by law, is also famously known as the component that makes you “high”.
CBD is very safe and reported to have no side effects.
CBD is known to have extensive possibilities by offering an amazing variety of benefits even as a single ingredient.
- How to use?
CBD oil is taken orally. After dropping it on the back of the tongue, it gets absorbed from the mucous membrane and it directly permeates into the capillaries. Additionally, by letting it sit on the back of the tongue for a short time (about 90 seconds) it increases the effectiveness.
- Is CBD safe?
Our CBD products (MARITIME) are safe. The ingredient inside hemp called "THC" is prohibited by Japanese law, but there is no problem with the CBD ingredient itself. We are selling with permission from the Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare and have passed their inspections.
- What is the difference in concentration (%)?
Higher concentrations contain more CBD. The effects vary based on the concentration level. We recommend to start with a small concentration and gradually increase it.
- Why extra virgin olive oil?
The main ingredient of the extra virgin olive oil used by MARITIME is 77.3% oleic acid of an unsaturated fatty acid, and it also contains lots of polyphenols providing beauty and health benefits. The fresh scent and taste of olives spread inside your mouth will remind you of the vast olive fields with a slight breeze. It has a bit of a spicy bitterness because of the polyphenol but it is not greasy. We were very particular about producing the taste just like fresh olive juice.
